This will mount a small microswitch to the side of any standard 2020 extrusion / Openbuilds / MakerSlide. The microswitch is recessed into the extrusion's slot, giving it a very low profile.

It includes a small wiring duct, to pass wires from the side of the mount, down underneath where they can reach the switch terminals. There's enough space for 2 wires, roughly 1mm diameter each.

It is intended to be used as a Limit Switch / Endstop / Homing Switch. Im currently using them on an X-Carve. They were designed to be as compact as possible, so that the microswitch could be placed on the very ends of the extrusion, without limiting travel capacity.

The "sub-miniature" microswitches i designed it for are small, roughly 12.7mm x 5.8mm. (rated for 125v 2a) They fit snugly enough to use as-is, but i would recommend supergluing them in, considering they're important end-stops.
It includes a 5mm chamfered hole for a low-profile / flat head M5 machine screw.
