Small Lithium Battery Box with Switch

This is a simple battery box to house a 3.7V, 3000 mA lithium battery with a mini toggle switch for turning the power on and off. This does not have internal charging capability and must be plugged into a compatible charger for charging the lithium battery.

The PN shown for the JST connector is a package that gets you both the male and female ends. Not shown is that you will have to solder in a male connector on the inside of the battery box for the battery to plug into. Obviously some minor soldering skills needed for assembling this.

It can be mounted in place with Velcro. I used this with a small 5V fan inside of a clone trooper helmet for cooling. The 3.7V battery turns the fan slower than normal but that was preferred to reduce the amount of noise created within the helmet.
