I decided to make a small parts organizer without a bottom, which I could glue onto hardboard. It worked pretty well.
As the OpenSCAD file is set up now, size is 180x180mm with 3x4 divisions, but this can be easily changed.
I found that melamine glue holds PLA to hardboard with about 40 psi popping force. More than enough for this application. This grid has about 7 sq in contact area.
(Oops, I just noticed that I uploaded the 3x4 scad and stl files, but show a picture of 4x4 version printed. Sorry.)
