Small SLA battery terminal cover

A cover for the terminals of small SLA (sealed lead-acid) batteries which have "faston" terminals on one end, to protect against short circuits from casual contact with metal objects.

This design is not weatherproof, nor has it been designed or tested against impacts that might break the plastic.

Because SLA batteries come in many sizes, the STL file is just an example. Use the Customizer or download and modify the SCAD file to fit your battery. The default values match the pictured battery, though the design has been slightly revised since the version shown.
