This is a replica of an Ugrinsky rotor for the balcony. I first tried out some variations. When I saw how well this design works, I wanted to build my own rotor. (diameter = 160 mm, height = 200 mm)

It had to be two-coloured so that you could see how strong the wind was blowing even from a distance. And it should produce electricity!

The rotor design is stackable, which means you can stack as many wings on top of each other as you want. At some point you will need a mounting at the top end of the axle, of course.

Built, printed - two wing segments on top of each other - everything is fine.

After half a year of successful operation, I've noticed that you can't see from which direction the wind is blowing, only how much. Therefore I added this not very elegant plastic flag - of course two-coloured!

Now I can see how much wind comes from where!

Unfortunately there is no sense in generating electricity here in the city, the rotor is too small and the wind is too weak. M
