Smart Humane Mouse Trap

We now use live traps for mice, as our dog finds the traps and the trapped animals interesting. With live traps, there is no longer any risk of injury to the dog. And the mice now get a second chance, too, as I relocate them. Like traditional traps, I equip the trap with a vibration sensor and an additional food box. This way, my smart home system informs me when a mouse has been caught in the trap. The additional food box allows me to quickly replace the bait. So I designed a new model, bought a few Zigbee vibration sensors, and put everything together.
