Smart Jewelry Box

This model has no visible features to suggest that it is a "smart" jewelry box with electronic or connectivity features. On the one hand, running a power cable to the box looks ridiculous; on the other hand, hiding a power bank inside the box will not work with all sensors because they may not draw enough power. Besides, having a light turn on and off inside the box is more a gimmick than it is a “smart” feature as those usually require an integration into a smart home. So rather than having a cheesy toy store looking box that can handle lighting the same way refrigerators do, I decided to go full “smart home” with this design and used Shelly Blu devices to make my jewelry box part of my smart home.
