A simmple Gadget wich turns the key in the lock.
Take attention for the direction of the door. Maybe you have to mirror the card.
I used a simple gearmotor with 12 V DC and 45 RpM. Searcht it on Ebay or Amazon...
Its controlled by a Raspberry. I combined it with a nfc reader.
!!! NOTE !!! IMPORTANT !!!
There is no way to turn the key from the other side of the door! Better you install a backup to move the "Keycard" away! (Maybe a thin but strong wire to tear it of from outside).
2021 July:
I made a new version of my dooropener. All new files begin with "Türöffner..".
This time i made it with a Pi Zero W. The Case for the computing unit is designed for
- a Raspberry Pi Zero W
- MP1584EN Step Down Converter
- Neuftech L298N Dual H-Bridge
- 12V Transformator
Also will be needed:
- RFID-RC522 Module
- 12V Wormgear Gearbox Motor
- TTP 223B Tochmodule (optional)
This time i printed it with white PETG, Noname.
