SMS Kaiser

SMS Kaiser was a battleship built for the German navy prior to ww1. She was laid down in December 1909 and Launched in March 1911, then commissioned in 1912. She would enter ww1 and take part in a number of operations, the largest of which would be the battle of Jutland, where she would sustain relativly minor damage despite being hit by several battleship calibre guns. She would take part in the German invasion of Riga and several more, before ww1 came to a close. At the end of the war she was taken to Scapa Flow, but then was scuttled in June 1919 under the orders of Admiral Adolf von Trotha.
