Designed by Olivia, Katie, and Madyson for a multi-part toy 3D design project in Drafting & Design 11.
The students were inspired by this design: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:24442 and so they made their own version of a snail pull toy. Their goal was not to improve upon the original design but to just create one of their own.
The hole in the wheels for the axle is offset so that the snail bops up and down like an inchworm. The wheels have a friction issue though and do not really turn very well without the use of extra material like tape to give them more friction with the ground.
The software used to design this toy included AutoCAD and Solid Edge St8. We have uploaded the solid edge .par files in addition to the .stl files.
