Snap Joint Spinner Dude

Enjoying snapping this toy together in different ways, and then position the joints to create a little robotic dude or a wide variety of balanced spinners! The “connector” and “appendage” pieces are designed with overlapping grooves around the rotational joint, allowing you to lock the joints in place at various angles. An optional pivot “axle” piece is also included that can be snapped into the bottom of the body to turn it into a spinning top. No supports are needed for printing, and the “connector” and “appendage” pieces are oriented as they should be for optimal strength (i.e. they print at a 45 degree angle). I used a brim for printing all of the small pieces, and set my “brim gap” at “.3 mm” (just to make the brim a little easier to pull off cleanly). To create one like shown in the pictures you'll need to print 30 connector pieces and 6 appendage pieces, and press hard on the pivot “axle” piece to get it to permanently snap in (it should be flush around the sides, like shown in
