I have the original Snapmaker, and when using the laser modules, can get pretty smelly. So I wanted to add an exhaust fan on the back that would also filter the air. I wanted to keep it easy and cheap. This attaches to the back of the Snapmaker enclosure using 4 M4 thumbscrews. It uses some round charcoal filters meant for a kitchen composter, and a 120mm case fan powered by a USB upvolt cable. Overall simple and effective!
The design allows for easy replacement of the filter. Note that there are 2 files, one without the mesh. Best to start with that one first unless you really need the mesh.
