Snapmaker U1 door hinge

With the addition of just a few parts, you can now fully open the door to gain access to your printer. This modification is fully reversible as it does not make any changes to the printer itself. Assembly: - Remove the glass door by unscrewing it from the hinges. Take 2 countersink M3x10 screws and the door spacer. Insert from the inside of the glass door. Take the correct hinge and attach all parts to the glass door. Refer to photo's for the correct orientation NOTE! Do not overtighten the screws. With the original hinges in the ‘open’ position, take the top hinge. Attached it to the original hinge with 2 M3x12 screws and washers. Push it towards the printer and tighten. This will hold its position securely. Repeat for the bottom hinge. Make sure that the M4 button head screws are not a tight fit in the hinges attached to the door. Place the door into the 'closed position'. Screw through the outer hinge at the top and bottom. NOTE! Do not overtighten the screws.
