This is a remix that combines three snatch block pulleys into one block and tackle combo.
Changes made to original designs include:
Making the middle sides thinner, so they are the same thickness as the outsides when combined and made easy to print.
Lengthened the support shaft to hold the three pulleys together.
Made slight changes to the shaft to print stronger ends
Made the opening for the rope rounder giving more space for thicker rope.
Added support rod for keeping the sides from rotating and for hanging block from a string and/or hooks.
The pictured sets were printed in black PETG at 30% honeycomb infill. The sides were printed at 0.2 layer height. The bearings, shaft, and rod printed at 0.15 layer height.
I tested the strength and durability with a 40lb weight. There were no signs of stress to the printed parts during normal testing. I performed a drop test by letting the rope go with the weight at max height, and catching it mid drop to test the excessive forc
