Snooker Pool Cross Rest - Customisable

A fully parametric jigger/X rest.I originally made this in FreeCAD when I couldn't find an existing design that I liked. I wanted one where the two arms of the X were not at 90 degrees to each other - so you get a choice of two different heights. I published that over on printables But it always bothered me that it might not fit on the end of some folks' cues. So I reimplemented the design in OpenSCAD. Now you can change the hole size to fit your own cue. And pretty much every other dimension as well! The picture below shows all the dimensions which can be modified. The model included in the print profile has a 12mm diameter hole at the top, tapering to 11.6mm at the base, over a `sleeve length` distance of 25mm. With 80mm long, 10mm diameter arms at 85 degrees. Update 2025-08-31Added the option to generate crush ribs on the inside of the sleeve to help with the fit. Make your own version in the Parametric Model Maker.
