These stepped shims provide spacing in 1/16" increments (~1.8mm), perfect for concrete and asphalt! Find the height that works best for you: low enough to not leave a thin sheet of ice, but high enough to not wear out the scraper blade every other year! Heights range from 1/16" (~1.6mm) to 5/16" (~8mm) - intended for concrete or asphalt surfaces Measurements in both imperial and metric (rounded) Text is “upside down” to be easily readable while in use Fits together for compact storage w/ tape or rubber band How to use (consult your snow blower's manual for instructions specific to your machine) Print two shims Find flat ground for the front of the snow blower to rest on (sweep up any debris or small stones) Loosen the bolts of the skid shoes Place shims on the ground in front of the blade with the thin ends pointed towards the snow blower.
