Snowflake Cutter

The cutter was designed for cutting icing snowflakes to go on a Christmas cake. The cutter and the plunger are drawn at the same scale and if enlarged or reduced ensure the scaling ratio is the same for both or the plunger won't fit.
Roll out the icing to the thickness you desire, press the cutter into it, use the plunger to release the icing snowflake.
The parts were drawn up in Fusion 360 and as this outputs a .stl file at 90 degrees I then load them into Cura to lay them flat. The cutter sits with the hexagon on the base.
The files used at the size they are produce a snowflake around 70mm dia. I reduced them in Cura to around 35 to 40 mm dia, I would be wary about reducing them any more than this to keep their definition. Once the size is worked out for the cutter take note of the scale ratio and use this for the plunger.
I printed mine in red PLA at a layer height of 0.2mm at 100% fill. No rafts, brims or supports are necessary.
