Soap dish drip tray

I was tired of soap dishes with no drainage, where the bar of soap stews in its own juices and gets all soggy and gross.

I made this tray to go under a cheap clear plastic bar soap holder I got from Fred Meyer (I think it was less than $3). My tray would probably work as a soap dish on its own, but the holder keeps the bar up off the surface so it can drain better. The holder came with some holes pre-drilled in it but I made some extras to make sure the water could drain.

The tray sits on the countertop with the front left corner hanging over the edge so the water can drain into the sink. It's designed for a one-piece sink and countertop, with no raised lip around the edge of the sink.
