New Year - A time to contemplate life's great mysteries such as "how does a soap dispenser pump actually work?" Took one apart and modeled it in SolidWorks and discovered a beautiful intricate mechanism, that's unfortunately being chucked out after use. Philippe Starck speaks about plastic being the most noble of materials because it is a product of human ingenuity and it deserves to be revered rather than thrown away.
