Socket Strip Switch Opening Cover Plate (Customizable)

EU power socket strips usually come with these glow light switches. However. Regularly these switches fail and you can replace or remove them.

If you are not experienced with working on mains power I strongly consider replacing the entire unit instead of messing with it.

If you choose to replace the switch by an solid electrical connection, you are left with a dangerous hole. This is where my simple part comes in.

After printing is should be self explaining. The small flat side goes into the hole and the side printed on your print surface becomes the visible cover side. The groove in the middle is where the plastic from the socket strip is snapping in.

Print it without any supports in the default orientation. If your printer is calibrated the plate should fit it. Well, it is a snap in, so push the smaller side into the hole and gently push and force along the long side. A good way to get the other end into, is to pl
