SodaStream gas bottle mount

I don't like fiddling when using stuff so sliding those cylinders into rings like in most designs out there was not a solution for me. So i made an "universal" mount for the 60l co2 cylinders used in SodaStream water sparklers and their derivatives. Originally it was designed to be used vertical in a standing position inside a cupboard ( no not at the door, so no room above ), I'm quite sure it works horizontally as well and probably even mounted under a shelf could work. ( at least it holds the bottle that way when i tested, not sure how long actually... the weight and/or wear out over time could be a factor). You could also use 2x the upper part for more "holding force" ( up + middle ) . Anyway, i do not really recommend such a downward facing under shelf installation. At your own risk doing so. Well, make plans and the universe starts laughing, mine is mounted at a door now :) You can insert and remove the cylinder from the side or slide it in and out. Both ways work. So it can be installed f.e. inside a cupboard with a standing cylinder when there is no room to slide. Different Models with M3 and M3.5 screws. The more_force version needs, you guess it, more force to remove and insert and therefore cope better with rapid movement stop happening f.e. "smashing" a door. You like this print?
