This is a remix utilizing nine (9) D8H1 magnets from K&K magnetics or any other 12.7mm (1/2 inch) diameter magnet that is 2.54-3.175mm thick (1/10-1/8 inch). (Personally, I actually use 10 magnets, slipping one under the spring in the center as well).

Additionally, the original seems tight in the cap. This is slightly smaller with the inner diameter being 28.5mm and the outside diameter is 54.75mm. The magnet holes are 12.8mm, creating a tight and firm fit without needing finger-breaking pressure to set them. It is tight enough not to need super glue, but I put a dot in each magnet hole to hold it anyways.
Finally, there is a one-layer thick bottom added to allow gluing without a tremendous mess. What I personally do is I take a piece of parchment paper and place it on a metal printing plate, then place the printed piece. Next, I place a drop of super glue in each hole closest to the inner diameter. Then, I place each mag
