i remixed the 24mm Version for showing the original maker how i thought would be a better strap design.
there are now 2 designs
one with the tongue (which i really like)
and another version without the tongue - to use any cord you want
this remix was done quickly on tinkercad (any tipps for better free software would be good!)
i also extended the tongue 20mm to fit the new design and i added some "snap point for rubber bands, if you want to be sure that the lantern stays in place".
The Sofirn SC18 has cooling fins ...perfect to attach it to, so i added some additional versions
Version:
v1 and v1_nostrap - both can use the adapters
v2 and v2_nostrap - locking mechanism already included
I printed v1 at 99.5% and it fits tight (locking adapter is not really needed) - i suggest when using the locking adapter, to print it 1-2% bigger (depends on your printer)
28mm_locking adapter_SC18.stl adapter fits the Sofirn SC18
28mm_locking_adapter_straight_any.stl fits
