My roof soffits are very hard to get to - one of the vents is damaged so I decided to work towards a clip on cover. I will likely need a holder that fits onto a telescopic pole so I can push it into place easily.
Prototype in PLA - working model to be PETG

I have made a mk1 soffit placer - it can be attached to an existing telescopic pole attachment by elastic bands or cable ties
the soffit cover sits in the placer and the central fin will prevent the cover from sliding off (in theory).
Mk1 soffit placer is perfect fit for vent width -oops - forgot to leave a gap for the centre fin to all ow for the central vent rib - hence Mk2

Mk6 cover is a good fit but is impossible to fit using a telescopic pole - mk7 has less rigid prongs which are longer and angled inwards

Cover mk7 is a bit too flimsy in the prongs - if you combine mk6 with mk7 you get strong prongs with extended height - mk8 is the charm - works very well and is easy to fit using the telescopic pole.
