Place 4 LDRs in the holes. You can calculate the position of the sun based on the resistance of the LDRs. If the sun is directly above you, the LDRs will all have the same resistance. If the sun is to the left, the resistance of the left LDR will be smaller than the resistance of the right LDR. This allows you to determine the sun's position relative to the sensor.
