I decided to enter this in the #MakerEdChallenge. It is a simple little thing, designed to show off the effects of solar radiation on air when heated up.
The idea behind it is that the black surfaces warm, causing the air above it to heat and rise, which in turn should cause it to spin.
You may notice that there is no axle in this design. To save some print time, I used a basic drinking straw, and used a bit of graphite to act as grease.
