I used the Customizable Ball Joint by kijja as the pivots. I'm open to improvement suggestions.
I used 30% infill for most parts. The small_solar_panel_threaded_ball_joint_ball_12mm_3.4mm_hole_x_7.5mm_upper_hole_ for_4mm_bolt_head.stl, I used 100% and 45 speed. Then tap M4 threads into it. A M4 25MM cap head screw threads into the ball.
You could just use the ball joint to panel piece and just glue it to the solar panel without the adjustable frame.
Debur the parts after printing. The sldes are slightly siff at first but loosen up after working them back and forth.
I made the main slider in two parts to make it easier to print. You will need to glue the two pieces together:
small_solar_panel_sliding_frame_lower_140mm_bottom_1a.stl
and
small_solar_panel_sliding_frame_upper_140mm_top_1b.stl
Tap the holes in the sliders to M3.
I used 8 M3 x 6mm screws to hold the sliders down (finger tight +)
There are also stl files for a M6 threaded ball and M6 threaded
