Solar Water Purifier

A straightforward device which utilizes 2 bottles and the sun to extract clean water from dirty water (by means of evaporation).

The threads are modeled as per ISBT standard PCO 1881. This is what Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, Fanta etc. use. You can see in one of the images an example of a PCO 1881 cap if you're not sure.

When using the device, make sure the dirty water bottle is at the bottom and the tube is extending upwards into the empty bottle. This, in theory, allows evaporated water from the bottom to pass through the tube as a vapor, condense against the top bottle and then collect down by the lid.

One thing i must say. The concept behind this idea is sound, but it's not really efficient unless you're in a hot place (I live in the UK...). Would be interesting if someone in a hotter country tried it out!
