Solder Holder

Presenting the Solder Holder! I do a lot of automotive soldering work and always found my solder rolls getting tangled up in my tool bag, I also sometimes have to use leaded solder and wanted to reduce my hand contact with this. Along with keeping the solder nice and tidy the solder holder also reduces the amount of exposed solder reducing the risk of shorting out when I'm working in tight spaces under dashboards. Can either be fully 3D printed, or for smoother operation can be fitted with 2X 608Z bearings. (there isn't actually that much of a difference when using the bearings I just had some lying around) The solder I'm using is 500g and has a spool size of 54mm wide x 55mm tall with a centre hole size of 19mm, if your solder roll is the same size then it should fit The knob on top allows any excess solder to be wound back in and the small hole near the base is for the end to be pushed into keeping it all nice and neat. been using the green/black on in the pictures for a
