This 3D design has been created to support the instruction of electrical circuits. It uses a LED Torch kit designed to allow students to learn the basics of circuits. This kit allows you to put together a simple LED torch (flashlight) which is powered by 3 x AAA batteries. Developed specifically for primary schools, where soldering is not allowed, rather than the components being soldered to the PCB, they are securely held in place by screws. The kit uses a 0.5W cool white LED, a nice slide switch and a single resistor, along with the battery snap and holder. The PCB is 2mm thick for better screw retention, and the whole unit can be housed in a box of your choice.
