Soldering is a many hands' job. Things to hold include: A soldering iron The PCB A component/tweezers Solder wire That is usually at least one thing too many for creatures that have on average less than two hands. Thus I bring you a system to place the solder wire right on the soldering iron. It has a little spool to store the wire and a tube to bring the solder to the hot end. The solder wire is actuated using the index finger. A solder wire can be slippery so use a latex/adherence finger glove thingy to help with adherence. You want that anyway if you are working with leaded solder. This model require two small zip-ties to attache to your soldering iron. The pipe might need to be reworked to fit your soldering iron. Remixes: For those that don't want the silly finger beanie and have some PTFE tubing to spare, check out these remixes from David McFarland: https://www.printables.com/model/772901-solderpipe-ptfe-upgrade / https://www.printables.com/model/844396-adjustable-solderpipe-redux-for-one-handed-solderi Another solution to easily feed the wire into the pipe, with a gear this time. It is still work in progress but it looks very promising. If interested, check out Niek's remix: https://www.printables.com/model/838818-solderpipe-with-gear Check out this alternate shape by David McFarland: https://www.printables.com/model/839828-solderpipe-redux-for-one-handed-soldering There is also this nice solution with a roll from sleepink: https://www.printables.com/model/842296-solderpipe-without-glove
