Solid State Relay Mount

In creating my new printer, I decided to add a solid state relay to the bed heater. The trick was finding a place out of the way that wouldn't be impacted by the actual heat coming from the bed, while also not looking out of place. I designed this on the fit on a joint between 2020 and 2040 extrusions.

I am trying to avoid a heat sink, though I doubt that it will be handling enough current to need one, bit I figured If I was going to mount it any amount of heat dissipation is better than none, so I decided to have the relay backup to the aluminum.

I'm using an Auber Instruments SRDD-100 SSR

You'll need 2 x m4-16 screws and nuts to affix the relay to the mount, and you'll need 2 M4-8 and 2 t-nuts to attach the mount to the rail.

All of the screws I use are set head cap, so that's how I designed it. If you use another type, as long as the head is wide enough for the shoulder you'll have no problems at all.
