Sony CDX-GT540UI volume knob

EDIT 2022/06/21:
Uploaded version 2.3! I modified the last knob to now have little grips on the outside of it. This makes it easier to spin the knob with a flick of a finger.

EDIT 2020/06/17:
Uploaded version 2! I recently lost the original knob. It lasted over 5 years! So I took the time to remake it using OpenSCAD.
New print settings:
15% infil, 3 perimiter, 0.15mm layer height, black Zyltech PETG

Lost my volume knob a few years back. Been using the nub ever since.
Tried to contact Sony, but they said "we cant ship you a replacement, but you can buy it." When I asked where, they said "we don't know."

So now, after getting my printers working, I have made a replacement.

Snaps on easily and grips nicely to the nub.

Printed at 30% infill with 0.2mm layer and with 2 vertical perimeters. Will also most likely need to rotate 180 degrees.
