Here's a soundpost height gauge tool so you can estimate how tall a new soundpost should be.
For the most part, you can print it flat, then add a M3 bolt as the set screw. However, because the parts are rounded, you probably will need to use brims so you have enough surface area to stay adhered to the bed, Unfortunately, that means some post processing might be necessary.
There's also versions with and without a “handle” at the top of the inner shaft. If you use the version with the handle, you'll want to slice the handle off in the slicer, then glue it back on after you assemble the whole tool.
I've included my Orca Slicer project as a .3mf that you can use, which has the top “handle” cut into a separate part.
I've also included my .scad file so you can adjust four things:
1. the dogleg length, ie. how far the gauges push out
2. the post height, ie. the little posts that actually measure how tall the soundpost should be
3. the outer shaft height, ie. how tall the main outer sle
