South Pole Telescope

This is a 1:100 scale model of the South Pole Telescope, a major Cosmic Microwave Background observatory located at the South Pole, Antarctica.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Pole_Telescope)

This 3D model was created by the Observational Cosmology Laboratory at University of Illinois(http://obscos.astro.illinois.edu/) as part of a collection of teaching aids for demonstrating various types of telescope mounts and pointing.

There is an additional zip in the collection which contains larger assemblies for easier printing on SLA, Object, or other 3D Printers capable of overhangs.
