Basic diference is that adjustable system is on the side of the table, not under the table. It gives more room for legs. Adjusting rope have comfortable locations. You do not have to worry about where to put the crank. Entire height of frame is made "one-piece". this have better stability than typical " two-piece" legs wich needs tolerances between two moving parts.
