# Why this mount?
The motor pulley sits almost complete at the motor housing with this mount so the leverage of the motor axle is drastically reduced and furthermore you don't need the 2 flange bearings anymore which indeed can reduce ringing to a certain amount.

The belt don't need to be shortened!

Remember, the motor can gain a litte bit of temperature with this mount because it isn't longer connected to the aluminium extrusions.
