Space Shuttle Solid Rocket Booster (SRB)

This is a SRB for the Space Shuttle. This is an earlier design tested in late 1981 that featured only one hold down post. These were made by Morton-Thiokol. This design was never flown but was used as a static test fixture until early 1982 when the newer Morton -Thiokol SRB were approved by NASA.
