SPARK PLUG

To create a 3D model of a spark plug in SolidWorks, follow these steps: Open SolidWorks and create a new part file. Set the desired units and dimension settings for your model. Start by sketching the base shape of the spark plug on the top plane. This typically consists of a cylindrical body with a hexagonal or octagonal head for easy installation. Use the sketch tools such as circles, lines, arcs, and polygons to create the desired shape. You can use dimensions and constraints to ensure accurate geometry. Once the base shape is complete, extrude the sketch to create the main body of the spark plug. Specify the desired height for the extrusion. Sketch the electrode tip on the top face of the spark plug body. This is the part that produces the spark. Typically, it is a conical shape or a hemisphere. Extrude or revolve the sketch to create the electrode tip. Adjust the dimensions to achieve the desired shape and size. Create the threaded portion of the spark plug. Sketch the thread profile on the side of the spark plug body and use the thread tool to generate the thread feature. Specify the thread size and pitch according to the standard used for spark plugs.
