This is a ported speaker enclosure for the 4" full-range Dayton [Audio RS100](https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-rs100-8-4-reference-full-range-driver--295-352). The driver is actually more like 3", but Dayton uses the outer edge of the frame for this measurement. The volume is approx. 0.1 ft3 for a spec'd F3 rolloff of 67Hz(!). Remember, it IS a ~3" driver - it's not going to shake the walls, but there's some usable range down there. While an enclosure made of PLA is never going to be as acoustically dead as e.g. MDF, I added a Dynamat-like material to the interior to help. These sound surprisingly good - the high end and imaging is better than the Tectonic Elements used in my other projects, near and on-axis. The Tech Elements win off-axis, in my opinion.
I continue to be impressed with the performance of many of these small full-range drivers.
See my [remix](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2605619) for the Tectonic Elements TEBM65C20F-8 3-1/2" BMR.
