Speed variator

Variable speed drive carried out during a practical work at school. The rotation of the motor shaft is transmitted to the shaft via a pulley system and then belt the movement is transmitted to the receiving shaft via the friction wheel system (plate and roller). The translation of the roller relative to the shaft allows the variation of the plate hence the variation of the speed of the receiving shaft.
