Spherical drone

Hi, here is the final year project I realized during my engineering school at Polytech' Tours. This drone is designed to answer the problems drones encounter with collisions (ie. crash, bam and boom!), and to be able to roll on the floor/wall/roof.
***
How it works (mechanics):
-
The sphere's shape is a truncated icosahedron, just the same shape as a football ball (well, soccer ball for our american friends ^^). It is mounted on two hoop, oriented 90° each, making the whole thing a gimball. This gimball allows the sphere to rotate almost freely around the drone chassis.
The two hoops are composed of :
1. Jonction_petit_bouclier (or grand)
2. Quart_pertit_bouclier (or grand)
while only the joints on the sphere are printed. The rest of the sphere is made of 3mm carbon fiber rod (approximately 6 meters total), available at decathlon in the kite aisle.
###You'll need :
- 50 x Croisillons_Y3_Bouclier
- 10 x Croisillions_Y4_Bouclier
- 2 x C
