This design is based on an ancient ivory sphinx. Find the source here, and scroll down a little.

It occurred to me as I was working that this is basically a 700BCE Pokemon. lol

If you choose to open the blender file, you can scroll back and forward on the timeline to see the pieces assemble. I placed them in different orientations on separate key-frames to make them easier to "sculpt".

I might redesign the pedestal so the details show up better. If so, I'll upload the new blender and .stl .

Which 3D printer is suitable for Sphinx?

Any FDM printer should handle Sphinx just fine. It's been printed on machines like Bambu Lab A1, Prusa MK4, Creality Ender 3, Anycubic Kobra. A minimum build volume of 200 mm is recommended.

Does Sphinx need supports when printing?

Yes, Sphinx will probably need supports for the overhangs. Tree supports work well here and are easier to remove than regular ones.
