Spice Bottle Lids

We bought a really cheap spice rack and jar set for our rental property. The lids on the spice jars were so flimsy and cheap that they cracked and broke within months.

Rather than throw the jars out I designed and printed new lids with various sized distributor holes and patterns. I've included the design for all 3 variants I've printed.

Works great.

If you want to avoid using supports, be sure to flip the design upside-down before slicing and printing. The distributor holes should be on the plate.

This was a fun project for a recreational hobbyist like me because I learned how to make a custom thread pattern...something that I would probably never have learned unless 3D design was part of my job.
