Design Update
Since I've been 3D printing for over five years, there are quite a large number of 3D printed items in my house. Although my wife likes the functionality of the original design, seeing something with a little less plastic makes her a lot happier ;-)
I designed this pullout spice rack to allow for one, two, or three pull out shelves for spices. The rack pulls out and rotates 90 degrees in either direction just like the original design. There are two shelves on the rack which allow for the short spice containers on the top and larger round or square bottles on the bottom.
You can modify the lengths of the stainless steel rods for your needs, but I used:
- 6 x 3mm x 136mm for the bottom shelf
- 6 x 3mm x 63mm for the top shelf
Hardware parts
Small flat head screws to fasten bottom rail and end-cap to cabinet.
2 fender washers
Book binding post (15mm size) or equivalent. If using nut and bolt, you may have to cut the bolt to length to prevent it from rub
