I designed this spinning dice (die) many years ago and had it for sale on Shapeways before they went defunct (now resurrected but no online store). The purpose was to design a dice that wouldn't go flying off the table when thrown. Simply spin it and wait for it to stop. Topmost number is then read. I redesigned this one by putting divots in the edges so that the number can be read wherever viewed from. You'll notice that the model is in two parts. This is because when printed in one part the supports and/or bridging is absolutely horrendous. Now, it prints beautifully and all that is needed is a drop of glue to attach the bottom part (into recessed hole).
