Slightly tweaked version of Sibanamush's spinning life counter. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:538696
I found their original difficult to print at scale, so I thickened the walls of the snapping side pieces. Not much to this remix, just tidying up some things.
The assembly instructions remain the same - just thread the end pieces through the spinners, snap together and you're done. This snaps together VERY well; if you're going to mix and match colors, make your picks before you assemble!
Photo is of an experiment I did in sanding to give the numbers more contrast without painting. I think it worked rather well.
