Spiral Vase

I kind of stumbled onto this design while I was working on a new logo and I thought these looked really cool. I printed three versions:This is the original version. Looks the best, but only has a small internal volume. This is the largest (grey) one in the photo’s. This is a somewhat cleaned up version. The bronze one in the photo’s. Here, I (mostly) filled all the voids in the model and carved out a circular space in the centre.This version actually took quite some time. I removed all the voids in the model. This version is the same on the outside, but a shell on the inside, following the outside shape. This is the yellow one in the photo’s. If you are going for a large, practical vase, this is the one I would pick, because this one uses the least filament compared to the internal volume of the vase.All vases I printed are water tight. The models are 80mm tall. But the grey version was scaled up to 100mm in the print profile. As you can see, this is quite small for an actually functio
