This is part spinner, part wheel. It uses a 3" O-ring as a tire and is a good spinner, but is also fun to roll across the floor or desktop. Leaning at an angle will make it roll in a circle back to you. And the spiral is flexible enough to act like a spring, so it even bounces. Uses 608 bearing without seals and lube.
Update 3-5-17- Added a 3-arm version of the 3" wheel. Added 3 and 4-arm version of 4" wheel, added a solid center wheel that takes a size 223 o-ring (1 7/8" O.D., 1 5/8" I.D., 1/8" diameter). Also made a pusher that you can use as an alternate means of launching.
Included are pics of part numbers and dimensions for 3 and 4 inch o-rings I got at Ace hardware, if I were doing a bunch of these I would find a source to buy them cheaper in bulk online. I found some 3" o-rings at Amazon - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051XZ6KU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
2 spiral wheels can be combined to make a good optical illusion similar to some other design
