This is my experimentation in design for the moodlite, here are the changes I have made:

1. Cut holes in the diffuse faces on the base. This removes a substantial quantity of material while leaving plenty of room for gluing down thick tinfoil or other reflective surface.
2. Minor edit to the top frame. Added in holes for sewing fabric to the front for a different look.
3. Created two sizes of panel joining I-pieces. One that would allow flush fitting of panels, and one with a 2mm gap for upholstered front panel fitting.

My printer is not big enough to print the big pieces in one go, so I have split the larger pieces into smaller ones that will fit on my 180mm^2 bed.
